There’s a buzz and level of excitement for the new Wii video game Disney Epic Mickey I haven’t seen since Pac Man Fever. Did I totally date myself with that reference? People were clambering to get a sneak peek at the game before it was released at the Festival of the Masters. Our conversation with Epic Mickey creative director Warren Spector set a DIS Unplugged record for comments on a blog. The game was launched Nov 30th at an event at the Times Square Disney Store complete with Dancing with the Stars champion Jennifer Grey, her co-competitor Kyle Massey, and a rare appearance by Steamboat Willie himself. However, even though Epic Mickey has launched, we at the DIS Unplugged are not through giving away prizes. I downloaded the free Epic Mickey app and it looks SO cool. It would tickle my fancy to win a copy of it PLUS the gift card is an incredible prize too!

I’m SO excited for Disney Epic Mickey. I’ve been waiting for this game for so, so very long, but of course now that it’s here, I can’t afford it with the cost of college and everything else. I want to see Mickeyjunk Mountain so bad! 😀

Love this game we went out and purchased this the first day it was released. We have been anticipating its release ever since the announcement.
I got to play Epic Mickey finally at Best Buy. It was SO cool!!!! I’d LOVE to get this game. In fact, it’s pushing me twd biting the bullet and buying a Wii (money’s tight but everybody deserves some fun and spoiling, right? It will be my Christmas present to myself:) )
I didn’t get to comment on your last blog but i also wanted to tell you TANK YOU for mentioning the Tapestry of Dreams parade. That music still really gets to me.. I LOVE it. I watch it on Youtube. I wish they’d bring it back…. it was one of my favorites. Just like the Main Street Electrical Parade.. I wish it would stay at Disney World for good!!!

Our two little ones would love to have Mickey and Oswald in our home! Grandma’s surprising them with a wii after I’ve fought off video games all these years, lol.. and they’ve talked about Epic Mickey even though they don’t know they’re getting a wii on Christmas morning.
