In the name of research, I went over to check out the new bakery in Epcot at Walt Disney World yesterday. Les Halles Boulangerie Pattisserie opened a few days ago in the France Pavilion.

It’s snowing in Canada! Limited Time Magic at Walt Disney World
Be prepared to be surprised in 2013 at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Disney has announced a Limited Time Magic promotion for 2013. This week the promotion is at Epcot with a Winter Wonderland in the Canada Pavilion. This event will run January 14 to January 20, 2013.

Saying Goodbye to the Main Street Bakery (As We Knew It)
It will be a sad day for many when the current Main Street Bakery closes on January 12, 2013. Walt Disney World has plans to turn this into a Starbucks location that will open May 7, 2013.

December Construction Update for Disney’s Magic Kingdom
Video: New Fantasyland opening I am thrilled to report that most of the walls have come down for the new Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. I first reported on the construction walls going up back in 2010. I am not a patient person so this seemed like an eternity to me.

The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
I had the chance today to visit The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow that is in soft previews at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World. This adventure will open December 6, 2012 on Soundstage 4. Journey into Narnia used to be in this location next to One Man’s Dream.

The Holidays arrive at Disney’s Magic Kingdom
Cue the music and start singing, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year!” Walt Disney World has started decorating their theme parks for the Holiday season. Magic Kingdom is usually first since they will be hosting Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parties. The party requires a additional ticket if you want to enjoy it.
