I’m Going to Disneyland!

Sarah has blogged about Virtual Magic Kingdom and her Disney Cruise Line experience.  Now she tells us about her upcoming Disneyland vacation.  I think we can all relate to her excitement….

I can hear it now! The parades, fireworks and the people screaming as they go down the 50 foot hill in Splash Mountain. Yup! I’m going to Disneyland July 20! Its going to be my mom, my dad, my best friend and me! We are driving which is a long drive from where I live. My mom made reservations at the Candy Cane hotel. We always stay there, it’s a great hotel. I love swimming there, I also like when you swim you can see the California Screamin’ rollercoaster over the hotel.  Its really neat!

I’ve been to the park many times before but my friend has never been! So this is very exciting to take someone who has never been before. We’ve been waiting to go for a very long time. My favorite ride in Disneyland would have to be Splash Mountain. I could ride that all day if it weren’t for the 3 hour long lines. But in Disney’s California Adventure (DCA) I have to say the best ride that I can’t wait for is the Tower of Terror! I first rode the Tower of Terror in Wal Disney World. My mom had to drag me on the ride. I’m happy I went because now I can ride this ride without any problems, heck I could ride it 50,000 times.

But I really cant wait for the fireworks and to see the look on my friends face when she first see’s Disneyland. I found out from the Disney Channel  that there is a new Toy Story ride in DCA. It looks like a lot of fun. It is a 4D ride where you feel like your at a real carnival. Also, I had my first big rollercoaster ride in DCA. That Big white Mickey rollercoaster you see in the back of DCA, yeah that’s California Screamin’ and yeah believe me, You scream a lot!

I’m very excited to see the new High School Musical parade. I love those movies. I saw the old parade but I haven’t seen the new one. I remember when I first saw it my other friend and I followed the whole parade down the park. See, I told you I liked the movies.

My mom is excited to see Fantastic! That firework show is AMAZING! You cant go to Disneyland and not see that. Also I heard there is a new parade that I have to see in DCA. I think the Princesses are the best part of the parade, they make it feel so magical. I’m very happy that now in the parades they have the new princess Giselle from the Disney movie Enchanted.

I love to shop in Downtown Disney. My favorite store there is LibbyLu. I like watching the little kids get there hair done in rock star Form. And who doesn’t like Build a Bear? I love going in the store. But the best store to go to, to fill your Disney shopping needs is the World of Disney Store. You cant miss it. It is HUGE! It probably has everything you need “Disney”. If you have some last minute shopping to do and you don’t have enough time then you really need to head to The World of Disney Store.

I cant wait! I’m counting down the days. I only have a few weeks until I get to see Mickey and Nemo. The night before we go to Disneyland I don’t think my friend and I will be able to sleep! We have many things planned for our trip, and I’m so excited.
