One thing I would definitely suggest to anyone who stays at this property is to make sure you get a tower room. I stayed at this hotel in 2014 for a conference, and they put me in one of the motel-style rooms. It was really awful…run-down and very old, uncomfortable beds, dirty (the bathroom wasn’t cleaned very well)…the front desk couldn’t move me to another room due to it being full or I would have done so.
I definitely LOVED being right across the street from Disney Springs (Downtown Disney at the time), and it was so easy to walk over there for dinners and even take a bus to a resort and from there to a park. I’m glad that you received an upgrade, but I wonder what your review would have been from one of the motel rooms (hopefully the hotel has upgraded those rooms since I stayed there).
