   I disagree, I think they destroyed the heart and soul of the attraction but cutting out much of the memorable banter between characters. The new costumes and such are fine, but cutting the show as much as they did is a shame. Many of my favorite lines are gone and from what I’ve heard, they, along with the 2 cut songs, were sacrificed simply so more people can go through the show in a day. Which would be fine if you routinely had people in the queue outside the main hall waiting, but you don’t. Phil Holmes fail

   I understand that many are upset about the cuts in the show. I thought it dragged before. I hope more people come to see it now. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens with the crowds.

   …the death of Imagination…
   Imagination is truly dead at WDW when they only way they can think of to improve/refresh a show is to CUT OUT 2 SONGS. So now we are left with the same old show (that’s not a bad thing) minus 2 songs, and NOW this is a destination?!? As noted previously, 1)people would stop to see the show to relax and cool down -AND- 2)people weren’t lining up to see this show. So now we have less show and show time to relax and cool down -AND- there will (no doubt) be less people at each show.
   This is so dead-headed on so many levels…
   If they wanted to refresh the show they could have introduced some NEW songs and banter, improved the sound system (it IS a music show you know), eliminated the mechanical noises that distract from the show, and maybe make it entertaining enough to, instead, maybe make the show longer (20-25m), so the show can run every half hour, so a crowd can gather (a full show is more fun with everyone clapping).
   If they wanted to make the show a ‘destination’, they should consider changing the show up every once in awhile so people make it a point to see the ‘new’ show, like perhaps a Christmas show??? Or a Summer Vacation show???
   All I know is that I enjoyed EVERY song in the show EVERY TIME we saw it (which is fairly often, several times a year), and now I’ll be upset everytime when I miss those 2 CUT songs…Oh, and I’d make it a point to see the Christmas show a couple times at Christmas time…alas, one less special thing at Christmas at WDW (no ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, or Xmas show at the Diamond Horseshoe, no Christmas Arch at Epcot…although I love the new castle lights, I do miss the beautiful white trees that use to be on each side of the castle lit up by blue lighting).
   LET’S CUT OUT 15 MIN FROM THE HALL OF PRESIDENTS, LET’S SEE THE PART THAT DRAGS IS…THE PRESIDENTS, LET’S JUST LIFT THE CURTAIN AND END THE SHOW…BRILLIANT!!!
   LET’S CUT PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, REMOVE ALL THE CHARACTERS NOT IN THE MOVIES…BRILLIANT!!!
   LET’S RETURN THE TIKI ROOM TO WHAT IT WAS (minus a song) WHEN IT HAD NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH ANY DISNEY PRODUCT AND PEOPLE WALKED OUT OF THE SHOW BECAUSE IT WAS JUST A BUNCH OF ROBOT BIRDS LIP-SYNCING TO A TRANQUIL SOUNDTRACK AND THEY HAD BETTER THINGS TO DO…instead of, ADDING MORE/BETTER ENTERTAINMENT VALUE TO THE SHOW…
   (personally, I thought Yago should have interrupted about 5 minutes later so they could have kept most of the original show, yet ADDED the Aladdin bits, making the show 5 min longer. Yago, making the gods upset made more sense than the ‘music’ did before and I HATE losing the amazing new evil Tiki goddess named Uh-Oa, a tragic loss.)
