Photos of Little Mermaid in soft previews
The grand opening of the new Fantasyland at Walt Disney World is getting closer. On December 6, 2012 everyone will be able to see this area that has been under construction for several years. I am getting excited to see all the new areas and attractions.
Let’s start outside the park. They have painted the Auto Plaza as you enter Magic Kingdom by bus or car. The booths will also be painted in the near future.
Continuing on to the new Fantasyland area they have taken down the walls near Pinocchio Village Haus. This is near where Enchanted Tales with Belle is located. It is currently in soft previews so you may get lucky and get to experience this great new attraction.
Looking from the other way as you approach Pinocchio Village Haus.
Construction on the left is where Snow White’s Scary Adventure used to be located.
They are also working on Mickey’s Philharmagic.
A view over the fence where the new roller coaster Seven Dwarfs Mine Train will be. It doesn’t open until 2014, so this will not be open when the rest of the area opens in December.
The construction walls have come down on the Storybook Circus area.
I loved the cast member outside greeting the guests. He has a puppet on his hand.
Big Top Souvenirs is beautiful inside. Once again you should check out all the details in this new building. Don’t forget to look down at the floor.
I love what they did with the cash registers.
Look down! It looks like canvas stitched together.
Pete’s Silly Sideshow next door is a meet and greet area but take the time to notice all the details.
Disney has added some tables and chairs if you are eating in this area. There is also seating in the area where you get your Fastpass for Dumbo.
If you are looking for a place for the kids to cool off don’t pass by Casey Jr. Soak ‘N’ Splash Station. This isn’t a place to go if you just want to get a little wet, you will get soaked here.
I will be back in this area several more times before the area is entirely open so stay tuned for more pictures and reports on the new attractions. What are you looking forward to seeing?
