Agent P game debuts in Epcot at Walt Disney World

Have you ever wanted to be a secret agent?  You can now fulfill your dream of being one by playing the new Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure in Epcot at Walt Disney World.  Today I had the chance to play this new game which replaces the Kim Possible Adventure throughout the World Showcase.

If you are familiar with the Kim Possible Adventure, the kiosks are in the same place.  The ones in Innoventions have not opened yet but you can visit a kiosk at the Odyssey bridge as you are approaching the World Showcase from Future World or near the International Gateway in World Showcase.

You will first need to choose which mission you would like to go on.  There are missions in Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Japan, France or the United Kingdom. Today the mission in China was not available.

You will be issued a F.O.N.E. (Field Operative Notification Equipment) like the one below. The device keeps you in contact with the Phineas and Ferb characters that will provide you with clues to stop the villains.

We chose our first adventure in Norway.  There was plenty of information on the screen to keep us entertained as we walked to Norway.  Our mission was to find the stolen bicycle. If you have played the Kim Possible game you will find many of the same familiar locations for your clues.  There are plenty of fun things that happen along the way while you are solving the case.

Our favorite country with the old game was Germany and it didn’t disappoint with this new adventure.  One of the things we noticed with the new version is that the game can time out.  It is very easy though to pick up where you left off if you decide you need to do some shopping in those gift shops you walk through or if you decide to have lunch. Each mission can take from 30-45 minutes.  Disney encourages you to do it as a group.

At the end of your first adventure you are allowed to select another one without returning to the kiosk for a new game. When you complete your mission you will experience a special finale event on your F.O.N.E.

When you are done with your mission you can drop the phone off in the country you just completed.  They will show you a picture of the drop off point.  This was our drop off location in Germany.

You don’t need to be familiar with the Phineas and Ferb characters to participate in the missions.  I have watched the show only a few times but was easily able to complete my missions.  I think it is a great way to explore the different countries in the World Showcase at Epcot. We will be back to play again another day!
