1st Annual Easter Egg display at Disney’s Grand Floridian

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa at Walt Disney World have created a new tradition for Easter.  Formerly they hand decorated the eggs simply for the enjoyment of the guests in their restaurants.  This year they are sharing them with everyone.

This display is beautiful.  The Grand Floridian has some very talented cast members that created these beautiful eggs.  I hope the resort continues this tradition in the years to come.  If you are at WDW during the Easter be sure to stop by and view them.

For the past 15 year, the resort’s chocolatiers have crafted chocolate Easter eggs, weighing between 9 to 12 pounds. The eggs are hollow and completely edible; they are decorated with colorful sugar, icing and fondant.
