D23: The Official Disney Fan Club has just released its schedule of events for 2011. The list includes events at both Disneyland and Disney World, plus several screenings at the Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank. Read on for the complete schedule of events. As always, more details (and more events) may be announced in the coming months.
January 22 – 50 and Fabulous Screening: 101 Dalmatians
Free screening held at the Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank.
January 29 – Special screening of Jake and the Never Land Pirates
D23 members are invited to bring their children to a screening of 2 episodes of this new Disney Channel show featuring David Arquette. Following the screening, David Arquette will answer questions and Captain Hook will take photos and sign autographs
February 5 – Walt Disney Studios and Archives Tour
Two and a half hour tour of the Burbank lot. Tickets are very limited.
March 12 – 50 and Fabulous Screening: The Absent-Minded Professor
Free screening held at the Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank.
April 30 – Walt Disney Studios and Archives Tour
Two and a half hour tour of the Burbank lot. Tickets are very limited.
May 12-13 – D23’s Great Disney Scavenger Hunt: Walt Disney World
Teams will have a chance to scour all four parks in order to win incredible prizes.
May 14-15 – Destination D: Walt Disney World 40th
Similar in format to the Destination D: Disneyland 55 event held this year in Disneyland, this event will feature panels and presentations from historians and Imagineers.
June 18 – 50 and Fabulous Screening: The Parent Trap
Free screening held at the Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank.
July 23 – Walt Disney Studios and Archives Tour
Two and a half hour tour of the Burbank lot. Tickets are very limited.
August 19-21 – D23 Expo 2011
This “Ultimate Fan Event” brings together the entire Disney company (parks, film, television, merchandise, etc) all under one roof.
October 14-15 – Sip & Stroll at Epcot
Annual event held during Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.
November 5 – Walt Disney Studios and Archives Tour
Two and a half hour tour of the Burbank lot. Tickets are very limited.
November 19 – 50 and Fabulous Screening: Babes in Toyland
Free screening held at the Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank.
December 17-18 – Magic and Merriment at Walt Disney World
