(Sept. 5, 2010): More than 14,000 athletes took to the road Sept. 5, 2010, amongst excitement and Disney characters for the Disneyland Half Marathon in Anaheim, Calif. The fifth annual 13.1-mile race takes runners through two Disney theme parks, Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, and on to the scenic streets of Anaheim, Calif. The event saw its largest attendance in the five-year history; more than 19,000 athletes registered in the weekend contests: Disneyland Fabulous 5K, KidsÕ Races and the half marathon.
