Video: World of Color Viewed From On High (1,800 Feet High)

The DisneyParks blog just released a new video of the nighttime water spectacular World of Color viewed from high above the Disney California Adventure theme park.  The video was shot 1,800 feet up from a fixed wing aircraft.  It’s not often I’m swayed by Disney hyperbole, but this time “Breathtaking” is an understatement.

DIS Disneyland Correspondent Tom Bell commented, “That’s the way to see World of Color!”  I couldn’t agree more.  Walt Disney World has Illuminations cruises and Wishes cruises.  How about a specialty World of Color flight for California Adventure?  I’ll share!

I’m thinking hot air (or helium) balloon. Who do we call to take credit for that idea?

I think Herb Ryman or Walt Disney himself might have already thought of the hot air balloon over Disneyland Resort. I think it’s in the original schematic drawing.
