Kouzzina by Cat Cora opened recently at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort at Walt Disney World. This new restaurant replaces Spoodles.
Kouzinna means “kitchen” in Greek. This new table service restaurant will have a Mediterranean theme to the menu, featuring simple Greek dishes. It is included in the Disney Dining Plan and can be booked by calling 407-WDW-DINE.
While dining you can enjoy the open kitchen with oak fired ovens and wood burning grill, as well as watch the chefs create meals for the guests to enjoy.
Cat Cora also has hand-selected the beverage menu. Expect to find some of her special cocktails and private label wines from California.
If you enjoyed watching Cat Cora on “Iron Chef America” on the Food Network, now you can dine in her restaurant at Walt Disney World. She will also be appearing at Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival October 30, 2009.

Just my opinion but other than a big marquee name, this seems like a down grade from Spoodles. I’m pretty open minded when it comes to food and this menu just doesn’t inspire me. While there are things on the menu I would enjoy, I think overall this misses the mark of what the average WDW diner wants. I’m not a big olive person so maybe it is just me. Spoodles will be missed.
